ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

14th EAI International Conference on Big Data Technologies and Applications

Big data technologies are the main instrument to advance the state-of-the-art in all application fields nowadays. In transferring from Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 there is a continuous interaction between the physical space and the cyberspace targeting to improve people’s well-being. Data are collected in the physical space by sensors and devices, and are accumulated as big data in the cyberspace, accessed through cloud environments and stored in data centers. Artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, including generative AI and large language or visual-language models are used to analyze the data, produce meaningful decisions and provide effective services to citizens and businesses. These are implemented by machines and robots, enhanced with VR and AR technologies and materialized by 3-D printers. In this framework our Conference aims to present, evaluate and discuss all big data technologies related to this evolution.
